Ken-Bailey Project Website

Sr. UX Developer · 2024

The Ken-Bailey Project is a healthcare development in Buffalo, NY. A collaboration between Evergreen Health and Community Access Services (CAS), this facility is designed to bring inclusive, judgment-free medical care to an underserved neighborhood. I was tasked with making a Wordpress website to support the project.

The Result

The website serves as a marketing piece to:

Educate the Community: Providing detailed information on upcoming services like primary care, pharmacy, and financial counseling.

Drive Philanthropy: Featuring a “Donate Now” engine to fuel the project’s mission of health equity.

Technical Details

Scroll-Driven Storytelling with GSAP: Since the site’s primary goal is engagement rather than complex data processing, I utilized a creative, motion-heavy design to guide the user through the project’s vision.

Component-Based Flexibility

Using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), I created a custom editing experience. This allows the client to easily update the content while maintaining a consistent look on the frontend.
